Re-visiting the forum after several years (helped get me the great deal on my current car), and man, talk about market conditions changing! Net Net - 2019 Volvo S60, still pretty low miles, buyout in Nov will be 27k, quick ping to Autonation for purchase is 32k. Car is fine for my purposes, don’t super love it or anything, but do need a car past Nov, so are there any deals to be had out there for cars if paying cash (not financing w/ these rates!)? AFAIK the answer is a resounding NO SO SAD, but happy to be wrong…
I’d keep it, even though you could squeeze around $4k equity with the low NC sales tax.
Which trim are we talking about? $27k is a good buy on a T6 AWD (inscription or momentum). Kinda not so great on a FWD T5.
