Vehicle condition (accidents, tire wear, etc.), options, and other details: Car is in great shape, have never had an issue with the car, I just don’t need an SUV anymore. Very clean interior and exterior, never been smoked in. It just had its 20K mile service, had all filters replaced, tires rotates and oil changed. Clean inspection. Has one more complimentary service at 30K/3 years. Has a very small unnoticeable scratch on front bumper(has not reached metal) and a scratch on one of the rims, again, not very noticeable. This car is very well equipped: Remote start(from both key and an app), adaptive cruise control, lane assist, back up camera and 360 sensors, top down camera view, heated front seats, amazing infotainment system including nav system, also works with Apple Carplay or Android equivalent, all-weather floor mats, fender sound system with a really nice subwoofer. Leatherette Seats, R line body kit, with a MASSIVE sunroof that opens all the way to the trunk. Has cargo net and blocks. Safety features on the car are amazing, this car will come to complete stop if it senses a collision. It also saves gas by starting and stopping itself at lights. Back seats fold flat with the touch of a button and the tailgate opens and closes automatically either hands free with your foot or via your key.

Reason for giving up lease: I love this car and I know you will too! I leased the car when I was commuting a lot for work and was doing a home renovation project and needed to extra trunk space. I am over paying for 15K miles a year that I won’t use, I hope you make the most of this awesome lease deal! I just won’t come anywhere near that many miles per month and would prefer to get a smaller car or an electric now that I work from home. Asking $2500 to cover my DAS.

Great looking ride but that rim will be hit for excessive wear and tear charge.

Nice ride… but two things you may already be aware of:

  1. VW Credit still holds the original lessor responsible, even after lease transfer
  2. Your buyout amount is not what a third party will pay. VW Credit is notorious for charging a significantly higher “market value” to third party buyers (VW Credit is not selling the car to you). Search LH… A lot of firsthand experience

Good luck

yup, I am aware. This is a much better deal for someone looking to take over the lease versus selling to a 3rd party.

Please add this to the main post and title.

Done and done!

Over $500 effective payment for a Tiguan isn’t even close to a good deal but good luck you never know.
