2019 Volkswagen Jetta Automatic S ... how far off is this from a good deal?

,

I am in the market for a VW Jetta S with driver assistance package in NJ.

This is what one dealer quoted me for 7,500 miles and 39 months:

MSRP: 21,425
Sale price: 19,693.68
Doc Fee: 449
Acquisition Fee: 675
Monthly payment: $255
Due on signing: $650 + first month

I am sure I can do much better than this, but I want to know what’s a good number for this car. Am I missing out on some rebates/incentives ?

Any view on the above ?

39 months is too long, $255 seems like Tiguan S money and 7500 miles your overall rental cost is .47 cents a mile.
Good Luck.

Yeah that’s way too high for 7500 miles, a good deal would be $200ish a month with first DAS at 10k/yr. Check if you qualify for partner program, and yes the tiguan seems to lease better right now(less mpg though)

A quick search makes it seems like Jetta S with drivers assistance isn’t a great option since there arent many of them on lots. Pricing looks better for SE trim which seems to include most of the same features.

Jetta S is a really basic car by 2019 standards. Search for the guy who posted a Sonata SEL deal in NJ; if you don’t need all the space or features I’m sure an Sonata SE or Elantra VP would be cheaper.
