A lot of it depends on trim. There is a difference in residual between S, SE, and HSE trims on Velars (the higher you go the worse the residual). You can equip an S with the same equipment for the same price as an HSE for example but it will still have a higher residual. The 1% rule is almost impossible to do with ANY car. Most of the people who achieve it INCLUDING tax, do it using cars that are not in demand, usually dealer demos, and have crazy incentives on them. Not to mention that tax varies by zip code, and some states like Oregon don’t have sales tax. The deal I got was the “1% rule” if you exclude tax. You will not be able to do the 1% rule on just any vehicle during any month as numbers and incentives change monthly for most brands. As per your Evoque, I doubt it- but also why on earth would you want a 68k Evoque?

Not 68k, but the payment was also in the mid 5’s.
