My range rover lease is ending in the next two months and the dealer is offering a pull ahead. They mentioned the car needs a few thousand dollars of brake work in the next months that I will avoid with a pull ahead. Didn’t offer a specific price sheet but wrote down the following:
Range Rover Sport SE
MSRP - 73,668
0 DAS
12k miles 39months
$1177/mo including tax
ZIP 32819 (central FL)
I guess my question here is should I take this or is there a better deal to be had elsewhere? Loved the current car for 3 years but lack of options for a lower monthly payment wasn’t great. Should I look for a better X5 deal with better features? Can I preorder a lease for an X7? Any help is appreciated. Sorry for the random thoughts but really don’t know where to go from here. Will call dealer for a price sheet tomorrow. Thanks!
I rode in an x7, and liked it a lot. Would definitely look great being in a brand new vehicle, vs sport that’s been around for some while and is quite common. It won’t lease well in the beginning, but it’s not like the sport is a bargain
I agree that the X7 would be an awesome move, but the only problem is the timing of it all. If I could throw in a preorder and see if I could get a similar or lower lease payment I’d jump at that. Huge thing is that brake service the dealer is talking about and if I can get the x7 before/ as my lease ends… Are there any lease quotes out on the x7 yet?
I can get you a 2019 $78K MSRP HSE for about $100 less per month and that is calculated with a true 0 down. More like $1025/month including tax with $2500 due at signing.
We can also ship it from Boston for only $700-800.
It’ll save you $3000+ (before broker fee) over the 39 months with shipping and get you into an HSE.
Shoot me a PM if you want to chat about it. Easy ship to FL. We do it a lot for the snowbirds.
I can get 6% off RRs non supercharged and 5% off supercharged models.
I had a ‘19 RRS SE $70k sign and drive for $850 back in November or so. Discount was around 10%. Given JLR is winding down their fiscal year you should go for a moon shot, the X7 is brand new and should arguably command a smaller discount by comparison.
Just a quick update. I was able to get range rover dealers for about a 78k RR sport SE 0 down for 1025/mo for 36mo 12k miles. I then went to BMW and asked for an X7 quote. they quoted me about 1300/mo for the same lease with a base car msrp of 73k (0 discount).I I ended up leasing an X7 through a broker. 80k MSRP (M sport, gesture control and the cool pano roof) 2k down 1,100/mo.
Yikes. A $1.7k effective payment. Financing the car would probably be cheaper. Are you set on a LR? You can probably get a better deal on a GLE 43 or 63
