2019 Mercedes GLC coupe. Please review my lease

Aloha
I was looking for a GLC coupe with Distronic but could not find one so I build and ordered one back in January. Car was just built and is awaiting shipment back in Germany. I was not told the money factor since we did not know what month the car was going to arrive so I was given a quote with January’s factor. I spoke with 7 dealers and this was the best price I got.
Can someone tell me if prices have gotten better since January and if this is a good deal on paper? Dealer is located in the San Fran area car deal will be calculated with HI state tax @4%.
Thank you

Discount seems weak therefore that payment seems a bit high! I’ve heard these don’t lease very well also. I leased a '19 BMW X4 back in January and this was my deal. Not the same car but they are comparable. I had $1k negative equity trade in my deal and my payment is way less that that.

antjones21, All the dealers I contacted told me that the car is too hot and because of that the manufacturer won’t reduse the money factor and dealers are not discounting the car that much. Heard the same about BMW X6 that just came out.
Wish I could fall in love with any BMW’s interior, I love the drive, engine, and gears but the interior is so plain and boring.
Hope you’re having a great time in your car :blue_car:

Do you mean the new '19 X5? The X6 is getting refreshed for 2020 so the '19’s are being discounted big time right now. I used to feel the same way about BMW’s interior, but the newer model 2019’s are a huge improvement. I was gonna possibly get the GLC Coupe but I can’t stand that dash screen sticking out on it’s own like that. Looks like someone stuck an iPad on the dash. I’m curious to see if the 2020 GLC’s get the new full dash that the 2019 GLE has.

Where are you located?

Im in Maui. Worst place to buy a car. Dealers are so used to people just paying whatever the price is. Anybody that is savvy is buying their car in the mainland and shipping it to Hawaii, it’s still cheaper to do this even after you add up the 1K shipping cost.

At least you don’t have the GET surcharge. I know it’s not much, but it can still be 0.712% more when passed on to the buyer! (HI is a state I cover at work for sales tax.)

AP919, where do work?

Why are you custom building one? Do you have a very specific requirement? I imagine there are at least a few sitting on west coast dealerships that will give you a better discount. It’s true they’re rarer, they only make about 10% of the GLCs in the coupe body style and they don’t lease well but you have more leverage generally on existing stock.

Find me one ,Distrtronic is the only thing I really care about!!!

Hey, don’t mean to hijack the thread, but I’m curious, can you ship a leased car from the mainland to HI? I’m currently living on Oahu, and you’re right dealers here just don’t like to budge. I’ve been told and it sorta makes sense that a financing company wouldn’t want the car shipped overseas, but is it possible?

Yes, All manufactures and banks allow it but the dealership has the final say!!

Leasehacker calculator is coming back with $643 and the dealer is at $699.34
It’s an MBenz GLC 300 coupe 36/10K miles. I’ve asked for the MF and was told its the standard MF no actual number has been given to me yet.
Should the monthly be lower?

How useful is Distronic on Maui? No interstates there, lol

Its great for me, some times I can be spacey or choosing song on my spotify. It just keeps me from crashing

Do you have any better to do than just reply lame stuff

Everybody on this forum is so rude and so full of themselves

Let us know if you want this thread closed so you can avoid rudeness.
