2019 Mercedes C300 4Matic Lease - Rate it

Hi All,

I recently leased a 2019 Mercedes C300 Sedan, 4Matic, fully loaded, (AMG Package, Night package, etc.)

I was coming out of a BMW lease in which I was over my miles and had 5 payments left. Mercedes was willing to buy out the remainder of my payments and told me they would be factored into the new lease deal. This amount was $2,500.

Although I already completed the deal, I wish I looked at this form first, as I feel like I put too much down. This salesman was supposed to be a “friend” who multiple people in my office have used.

MSRP: $54,905
The agreed upon value was $47,000, but the gross capitalized cost came out to $50,829
The adjusted capitalized cost came out to be $49,073
The residual value was calculated to be $30,355

Down Payment $4,500 (total out of pocket, no MSD)
Monthly Payments $587
12k miles / 36 mo

I have tried to use the lease calculator but i am not sure how the $2,500 from my prior lease was calculated in. I purchased this in New Jersey.

Thank you for your input.

What are you looking for?
The 2500 of your prior lease could have been taken with you DAS, or they could have installed it into your monthly payment.

Overall this deal is pretty bad, with your DAS and Monthly your easily in e class/ 5 series/ 7 series territory

Do you what MF they used I’m guessing they marked it up quite a bit, which would kill even more if they factored in your Neg equity into your monthly

In the calc to factor in your negative equity just increase the sales price of the car by 2500

Also take in account your car is new, fully loaded etc the general rule of thumb is that “fully loaded” cars lease poorer than base or semi loaded cars

Just looking for someone to rate the lease. I was told if I did not have the addl $2500 from my prior with the same money down ($4500) I’d be in the monthly payment range of $518.

I have heard that “friend” thing used before, they aren’t anyone’s friend. In fact you will get screwed more by the “friend” salesman than an actual salesman.

Happens all the time.

The issue is 518 with 4500 das is still terrible

Ouch - next time check here before signing

Your deal isn’t what many would call hackr-worthy. (not great, not horrifying)

Gotta love “friend” deals…
With “friends” like those, who needs enemies?

Anyway, Enjoy your car!

If you want a rating. I’d give you C-.

Even without factoring in the negative equity and then paying interest on it, the 518/mo is very high for a 300

It’s too late to do anything about it now. Enjoy the car, read up and do better on the next one.
