Hi everyone. I’m new to leasing and have been shopping around for a 2019 Mazda CX-5 Sport AWD. This is the best quote I got so far and want to know what you think. Thank you all.
2019 Mazda CX-5 Sport AWD
30 Month Term
12,000 Miles Per Year
MSRP- $26,795
Money factor- 0.00175
Residual- 64%
Rebate- $1,880 + $500 Presidents’ Day Bonus + $750 Mazda Loyalty
I do not qualify for Mazda loyalty
$263.53 Monthly
$2,157.47 Due At Signing - First Month Payment($263.53), Registration(New Plates-NY-$397.50), Bank Fee($595), Sales Tax(NYC-$901.44)
Looks like a good deal to me. Not sure about the $595 bank fees though.
Thanks for the reply. What can I do about the bank fee?
It’s the acquisition fee which is going to be applicable on any lease (although the actual amount varies from make to make). Not really anything you can do about it.
Okay thanks. So what do you think about the numbers? It’s a $26k MSRP car
The deal is OK.
I would recommend that you put the sales tax into the lease payment rather than pay it up front. If the car is totaled, the gap insurance will cover the sales tax. If you pay it up front, it will not.

Sales price, MF, incentives? Hard to fully judge without knowing all the details. On the surface, not great.
