2019 Lexus RX 350 lease vs 2020

Hello everyone,

I got the below lease offer for the 2019 RX 350 lease from the dealer today. They offered a $4k rebate for 2020 model vs. 10,500 on this 2019 Rx 350. What are your thoughts? I am new to the leasing world.

Lease Term: 36 months/15K miles
Make: 2019 LEXUS RX 350
MSRP: $46,958
Selling Price: $37,956 ($1,498 upgrades, $10,500 credit)
Residual: 49% (Lease end purchase amount $23,010)
MF:
Fees: $2,073 ($1330 Tax, $144 tag, $599 Dealer Fee)

Monthly Payment: $598

Didn’t look at it too closely but I suggest working with a broker because I’ve seen much better numbers on the forum. $598 for a 46K MSRP isn’t great on Lexus.

I know my Lexus RX350 luxury/loaded (62K MSRP) is $484 with max MSD after tax.

Thank you for the feedback. I am looking to lease for a 15k miles/yr, and it doesn’t help with the pricing. How many miles are you leasing for?

It looks like they’re charging you full MSRP. The rebates come from Lexus, not the dealer.

Its important to note, once a dealer commits to a discount, say at 10K miles…

The change to 12K or 15K is not them charging you more as a dealer. It is the output of the further drop in residual value as more miles are added.

I get this question a lot as a broker since most of us show the deals at 10K miles.

If you adjust the calculator, you’ll see the RV drop.

See below example:

Mine was for 36/10K but my MSRP was 15K higher than yours. 36/15K would probably be 30-40 more per month for me. Still way under 598 after tax.

Thank you all. I see that I need to spend more time on this.

@DoctrDeep Looks like you got a great deal!

If you can’t find anything compelling, I ship to GA and even with those costs will most likely save you quite a bit.
