2019 Lexus IS300 base model deal. How is this?

MSRP: $40058
Selling price: $35698
Acq fee: $795
Total Rebate: $4750
Net Cap fee: $32125.96

I made 6 security deposits ($2100 total)

Monthly payment: $344.74 (including tax)

I would like to bring to cost down to $300 (including tax). Is that absurd or possible?

The only way you’re going to get the monthly to $300 is another $1600 or so off of MSRP. To be honest, I don’t think that’s doable. Your deal is good as it stands

Not a bad deal at all, but you could get an F sport for $25-40 more per month.

I have leased two Lexus IS, a 2014 IS 250 and a 2016 IS 200T F Sport, I am about to turn in the 2016 next month and get something else.

They are well built fun cars and my experience I’d rate a 8 out of 10. The fuel consumption is like a F150, don’t believe people when they say they get 30mpg, that’s a lie point blank.

Second issue is the Tire Wear, omg the tire wear!!! I lease so I never have to buy tires, Haha forget about that on a Lexus IS…through both leases I had to buy three sets of tires, and yes the car was properly aligned. On the ClubLexus.com forums there is a 800 page thread on Lexus IS tire wear, it’s so bad now that apparently the Window Sticker on the new Lexus IS state that you will only get 15k miles out of your tires, it’s really only 10k miles however. I live in Central FL and the roads are flat and not filled with potholes, according to clublexus.com Lexus has the settings of the tires incorrect at the factory, this is why the inner wears bald quickly

Good info for people looking at IS leases. And this is something only people who have leased this car would have knowledge of.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s not cheap to replace those tires, factory rims are what, 35 profile and 18 inches?

Yes it is not cheap. The F sport model, which I currently have has a Stagerred tire setup, with the rear tires being wider.

Living in FL I run Summer tires of course, Michelin Pilot SuperSports, a full set new runs you anywhere from $900-$1100 installed. Now those are top of the line, you could get the full set Firestone Firehawks for around $600 installed, but a much inferior product and ride quality.

So needless to say, in my new car search I am reading owners forums about tire wear lol.

I’m with you on tire wear, turning my is350 fsport in on blackfriday, will not miss having to put new tires on so many times.

The tread wear on those Michelins is abysmal. It’s not lexus’ fault summer tires have terrible tread wear, that’s what the people want.

Source: I have Pilot Sport 4s on my Stinger. At 13k miles and I will need new tires soon.

Want longer tread life? Buy non-performance all seasons.

I had to replace my two front tires, but the service guy somehow was able to get it covered under my tire package so he saved me on that purchase. I’m returning my car at the end of the month with under 25,000 miles so I’m curious if I’ll get dinged for the rear tires. Done with Lexus…back to BMW.

It’s a design flaw with the Lexus IS, performance summer tires are suppose to be good for 25,000-30,000 miles

Hi Hackrs,

Although I have been reading the forum, I am newly registered to the forum.
I’ve decided to join because it seems like the answers I’m looking for just doesn’t exist… (or I’m terrible at searching the forum…)

Saying that, what do you guys think about this deal?
2018 Lexus IS 350 F Sport RWD (there are 3 of these at their lot currently)
Fully loaded with the exception of HUD

MSRP: 50,828
Dealer Discount and Rebate: 9,525 (including 6,500 rebate)
Selling Price: 41,303

MF: Unknown
Residual: 52%
Sales Tax (NV): 8.25

Monthly (36 months): $622.07
Monthly (48 months): $599.74

This is purely without any negotiating, and I think there is room for negotiation since it is a 2018 model, with three other versions of this car (silver and black model).

Thank you very much!

To Jalez22, since you have leased Lexus and the IS is one I’m interested in, would you recommend a dealer and do you think I can get an 18 model between $250-$300 payment with a few thousand down? I too live in central FL.

Anything is possible with thousands upon thousands down. A down payment is also an atrocious idea though

my deal August 2018 before the Labor Day weekend.

2018 IS 300 F Sport
MSRP $43,905 (no nav)
Cap cost is $34,xxx
35/10 $389 tx included (8%) Socal
DAS $500

I could have probably pushed for 0 drive off but it was getting late (second to the last to sign) and the person I was dealing with was a gentleman and respectful. And, it was the only white with no nav they have in stock. No regrets so far. Goodluck

I leased the 2014 IS 250 from Clearwater after contacting 6 Lexus dealers. I leased the 2016 IS 200T F Sport in Sarasota after contacting Lexus dealers all over the state.

That being said, the “leasing climate” in November 2018 is waaay different than March 2016. So by all means contact Clearwater and Sarasota, but do the right thing and contact about 5 other Lexus dealers as well.

I just had a SoCal dealer agree to a lease on a 2019 Lexus IS300 base with final sale price of $32,xxx. You can push it way more.

Could you provide me with the dealership you received that deal from?

can you please provide me with the dealership too? I want to buy 2019 lexus IS300 too!
