2019 Lexus GX460 Luxury AWD

Hi All - I got a quote from a Lexus dealer on a 2019 Lexus GX460 Luxury model that I wanted to get feedback on. This is NOT A LEASE - they said we can’t lease 2019’s anymore.

It has 11K miles on it (demo model)
Original MSRP: $70K (Luxury model + Sport Design Package + Driver’s Support Package)
Discounted Purchase Price: $58K

Trying to determine if this is a good deal or not - they are selling as a new vehicle even though it has 11K miles on it. I appreciate any feedback you guys have. Thank you!

Not even 20% off. I dont know you jave to compare to comparable cars for sale at thatmileage.

Hey sabman87,

I don’t know why you were told you can’t lease 2019s anymore because that should not be true. Additionally, a quick search on auto trader can tell you how much it’s going for. I just did it for you and the lowest I saw was in the low 40s. The difference is if they actually sell it to you as a new vehicle, you should get the warranties that a new car comes with. I personally would not take that deal.

I assume it is because it has 11k that it can not be leased. Lexus does not lease loaner or demo vehicles.

I leased a Lexus GX 460 “event car” with 250 miles on it. It had been used at a PGA event.

Probably cause it wasn’t titled

Thanks for the replies everyone. This vehicle has never been titled - it was used as a demo by one of the finance managers. So I think that’s why they are able to sell it brand new. They said they’re giving dealer cash, incentives, etc versus leasing the car.

@AskJosh Thanks for the reply. I searched for the vehicle online as well and the difference that I’m seeing is the Luxury edition. You can absolutely get a Lexus GX Premium for mid 40K but I cannot find any Luxury models as they’re relatively rare. I really like the Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto folding mirrors, etc.

Have them break out what are the discounts being factored

Discount before incentives
Incentives etc…

This will help you make a better decision. Best to reach out to multiple dealers, although not the same car, you may be able to leverage one dealer over another.

At the end of the day, it is still a used car and you should use that to your advantage

Check to see if the ClubLexus GX forum has a prices paid topic. I know the RX forum does

Ah my apologies sabman87. I didn’t know you needed that model specifically.
