Leased 2019 K900 with VIP package end of November 2018. No money down, 36 months, NYS sales tax included. $817.00 / month with military discount. Had 2015 K900 which was a very nice car, 2019 is fantastic. I would NEVER put money down on a leased car, if car is totaled down payment is gone.
Thatās a lot of coin for a Kia.
I leased my Stinger GT1 a few months back for $500 ($542 w/ taxes) w/ 1st Month DAS (10K/39M).
Nice Kiaās are tough to get lease deals on. The dealerās are seemingly not used to seeing good credit, and people not needing cars ASAP (I was chastised at a dealer because I didnāt want to buy that very second - the salesguy basically yelled at me for needing to x-shop another car before making a decision).
Iād hold off for a little while, or try to find a high-volume dealer and work with them. The only dealer that hit my number (barely) was the largest volume dealer in CO and required I drive 2 Hours.
I donāt know what the lease support was like back in November, but based on that it doesnāt sound good.
For 817/mo, thereās quite a few cars Iād choose over the K900, even as nice as it is.
Edit: When Iām ready for my next car in about a year. Iām hoping the $7400 lease cash goes up and they add some kind of loyalty discount like theyāre doing on stingers at the moment.
Good thing for the Kia dealer it wasnāt your choice then!

Keep in mind that in NYS the sales tax must be paid in total at the beginning of the lease. So the total amount of the sales tax has to be financed. Donāt let the KIA name fool you, this is a world class luxury car in every respect. I think the payment is a bargain for a car this great. It is pretty close in every way to a Genisis G90, but the payment was around $250.00 less per month
Do you recall the pre-tax monthly payment? Or if you can recreate it roughly in the calculator, that would be helpful
Before the NYS tax the payment would have been around $740.00 a month. Not only is the rate 8.625%, but as it all has to be paid up front. It increased the cap cost around $2400.00.
One Kia dealer quoted me a payment of $1200 with a rate of over 12%. I told him I had a 800+ FICO and he said Kia has bad rates for all credit tiers.
Lmao they almost never see good credit and car shopping educated people in those places nor do they want to, they sure pray on those fortes and optima buyers that come in with a 540 beacon
I told them I could get an s550 ot 750i for less and they were shocked.
Where can you get a S550 and 750i for under 800 a month? The only 7 series Iāve seen were 740i.
I was referring to the $1279.99 they quoted me. Pretty sure that would be doable.
Definitely. For an extra 250 a month you could get an Alpina B7 based on what some brokers have been posting to the marketplace!
You can get a 19ā 740i in that range right about now, they are basically tossing the keys for free at whoever glances at these cars,
