Alright guys, this is where I’m at. What do you think? Going to do a one-pay lease. They told me the rate only goes down a little, but from what the worksheet shows, the rent charge goes from $1,363.87 (monthly payments) to $49.59 (one-pay). Is that right or am I missing something?
Got the GPS switched to wheel and tire. Kia Care Plan is also included. From what I’ve seen online, both of these items are available for cancellation within the first 30 days.
Total payment at signing is $3679.41 ($7179.41 - $3,500 lease cash). The monthly payment equivalent over 24 months, puts me at $153.31. Factor in the $400 disposition fee when returning the car and it goes to $169.98.
IF I get the $1098+tax refund for the Wheel/Tire and Maintenance plan (no reason I shouldn’t), that would put me at a total one-pay of around $2,581+, giving me the monthly payment equivalent of $107+. Factor in the $400 disposition fee when returning the car and it goes to $124+.
Yeah that’s what another dealer had quoted me as the reduction for a one-pay. I’m assuming he didn’t have it right. This most recent worksheet is what I was given as the rent charge over the lease for a one-pay. I didn’t input the numbers on the worksheet; dealer did.
Can you explain why you think I counted the lease cash twice? Total due at signing for the entire lease including everything is $7,179.41. $3500 lease cash will be applied to that, leaving me to pay the balance of $3,679.41.
While I agree that the GPS tracker isn’t worth getting, the Tile and a GPS tracker are very different. Tile will only give you it’s location if you are within it’s Bluetooth range.
