2019 Kia Forte LXS, $222/m, 1st pmt DAS - Thoughts on offer

The thing with the “getting something for the money” thinking is that to me… you’re not really getting something for the difference. Think about it. MAYBE 100 bucks over the two years for oil changes and cabin air filters and then what? 1k for the GPS, something you have absolutely zero desire or even need for. I’d guess you’d never actually use it as designed.

So in reality, the dealer is making the exact same profit as the other dealers, they’re just changing what they call the numbers to make it LOOK like you’re actually getting something.

If the 17.1k they offered you is the lowest of anyone else around, then I think you have your answer… just don’t fool yourself into thinking that it’s 16k, but with 1.1k of useless extra items… the actual sale price really is just 17.1k.

If the number work for you then take it and never service your vehicle there. I don’t like that the dealer is deceptive with their tactics. Makes me wonder where else they’re deceptive.
