2019 Kia Forte Lease, Is this “good”?

So, I’ve been going back and forth with two different dealerships about leasing a 2019 Kia Forte S with Premium Package.
MSRP: 22730
Selling Price: 20135
0DAS/Drive Off
230 Pre-Tax Monthly
250 Post-Tax Monthly
MF:.00190
RV: 51%
I don’t have the full price breakdown, and the other dealer said they would beat the offer and give me 245 a month post tax if I come in tomorrow.

Have you confirmed MF/RV/incentives with Edmunds?

Yup, I had the Edmunds numbers ahead of reaching out and after asking for my zip the dealer gave the same #'s

Is your selling price pre or post incentive? What are the incentives?

Pre! I knew I was forgetting to add something, the incentives this month are $3620 from Kia.

Personally i would not pay that much for a cloth seat econobox.

I think I’ve seen brokers push elantras for 150, 1k das on here for whatever that is worth.

Appreciate this! Going to try and push further if the deal doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere I’ll probably just walk away and wait for next months incentives.

There’s two potential questions being asked here: is $250 a good price on a forte and is a forte a good car for $250.

I don’t know the forte market well, but at 11.5% pre incentive with buy rate MF, I don’t know that you’re really likely to much better. You’ll have to look at the alternatives to decide if there’s a better way to spend $250.

For this particular car you may not be able to get any better. I am just saying this car is in general expensive for what it is.

This is probably what I needed to hear, because the math seemed to all be right but something about $250 for a forte isn’t right

I agree. The selling price is definitely too high for the S. And the lxs is probably the sweet spot for leasing a Forte.
