Doing calculations by hand and by calc. I get ~$260 a month with no money down. Below is what they offered me. All via email, I don’t go in until I feel good about it. Still new at this, but it worked once before for my Wrangler.

Jeep is tricky because they might be using ally instead of Chrysler financial, edmunds only quotes the latter. And you further complicate things, some dealers quote one and some the other, good luck, fca dealers are a pain
Your calc has the sale price with rebates already figured in, it seems, and then you are taking them off again as down payment.
That said, I can’t figure out where $360 comes from. Are they saying $0 DAS or just $0 DP? I have a feeling it is DP and they are quoting you with fees DAS.

Umm well from that quote you should get them to remove that bogus $399 “Autonation Theft Protection”
Get more quotes, an Autonation FCA dealer, that’s a double whammy for terribleness
Yea, that was the first thing I asked him to take off. He said he couldn’t take it off, but deducted $400 from the sale price.
Looks like you’re here in the Denver area, last time I looked, the Cherokee leases better, especially in the limited trim. You’ll literally need to contact every dealer in the metro area, you’ll need to use the excuse that you’re traveling for work, busy etc because they’ll all try to get you to come in. I think a Cherokee limited is very doable at this compass payment.
Go on the jeep website and play with different models and the lease calculator to see where the deal is at, I think it’s the Cherokee limited though
Yes, in Westminster. I did the same with my Wrangler. They tried to get me to come in, but I was straight with them and said I have access to all my data from here and will only come in once we had a deal. Some didn’t like that (even though their title was “Internet Sales Rep”), but that’s too bad. Got my 2019 Wrangler at Pollard Jeep in Boulder.
As far as the Cherokee, the Compass is for my wife. Would have to convince her on the Cherokee (not an easy proposition lol).
Just have her drive it, nice smooth 6cyl or 4 turbo vs normally aspirated 4cyl. It’s not much different size wise and allot more vehicle, they look pretty much the same too, much better lease too from what I’ve seen

Using ChryCo numbers from Edmunds should be better, if the dealer discount holds up, and if it is also 39 mos.
Thank you so much! He said he’s using U.S. Bank as that is the best offer he is getting right now. He also said Chrysler capital is at 46% Res at 39 months and its 48% at 36 months. But, I am looking for 39 month lease. If I use the calc at 36 months it goes up to $371 using his numbers. So an extra $10 per month.
But I get $348 for 39 mos with the 46% res. Does the MF from chryco change at 39 mos?
So we got it down to $350 a month, but only with $350 down 39/12. Probably their way to get back the bogus theft protection. Had it all wrapped up and then he emails me to tell me there is a check engine light on the one we want. Asking if we still wanted it. We said no and then he asked us what color options other than blue. Wound up upgrading us to the Altitude trim same terms, $2k more sticker price. Pretty happy about that. She gets 18" wheels instead of 17". Grey body with black rims and black top. Really nice.
