Lease is ending on my current car (2016 Ford Fusion). Looking at a midsize SUV for next vehicle. Here’s a lease I found:
2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
MSRP $37,535 with all included options & destination
Here’s a direct quote from the dealer regarding pricing:
“This Jeep would be 289.00 per month for 36 months at 10,000 miles per year with a total of 2205.00 down. This down payment includes paying for your first months payment, first years lic and registration, and sales tax paid upfront. It also includes additional money to buy down the payment on the upgraded equipment on this jeep totaling 2205.00”
I was also quoted $326 month with $1,000 down and $357/month sign and drive.
I’m in Minnesota. I don’t know any other numbers as far as residual, money factor, etc.
I feel like the lease on my outgoing Fusion wasn’t that great. Didn’t shop around and decided too fast. Trying to do my homework this time around.
4WD
Factory tow package
Cold weather package
Turbo 4 or V6
Trim level isn’t really important. I was interested in the Trailhawk because of the advertised lease deal on them. Seemed to be the best based on price/trim level.
Thank you! I know the owner personally and have been dealing with him directly. They have quite a few Limiteds on hand so I’ll definitely check into them as well.
In my area it looks like the Trailhawk is about $20/month less than a similarly optioned Limited. I had emailed another dealer who I know and they confirmed that the Trailhawk is the best deal right now.
I got two dealers to quote me 297 and 299 on a Trailhawk Elite MSRP 39,710 and a Trailhawk MSRP 38,500. The trick is to be patient and take your time. They may claim they have given you the best rate but then a manager comes in and gives you a better frail. Also, don’t walk into a delatship. Keep it over email. Lastly, contact as many dealerships as you can over email and try to get price matches and beats from competing dealerships.
