Here is the advertisement. Does this seem like a good deal? $209 seems almost too good to be true? What to look out for?
Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
MSRP: $ 36,335
Monthly Payment: $ 209 (lease)
Drive-Off Amount: First payment, plus $299 doc ($508)
Months: 42
Annual Mileage: 10k
Region: Midwest
Tax Title License extra. I figure $43 per month tax (5.5% in Nebraska)
Tax, title etc extra. Read the line at the bottom
Tax is 5.5% here, so up to $43 per month if figured off MSRP. .
Title and License is always nuts here, but that’s expected.
Tax should be based on the monthly payment, the term isn’t great though since it’ll take you out of warranty
Currently leasing a Forester and on the last month, it was a 42, so it made it. Hopefully the Cherokee would make it as well.
You can ask for whatever term you want, I suggest 36 mo and I also suggest getting quotes from multiple dealers
Oh boy another dealer advertised special nothing like it.

Would you expect the term difference to affect the payment at all? 5 year power train. So that’s not terrible.

Yes, almost always it has some impact on MF and/or RV.
Do I expect an attempted bait and switch?

They probably only have 1 or 2 vehicles at that MSRP. That’s a smoking deal btw. They will most definitely try to upsell you including protection packages and such
