2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited FWD - $314/mo?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been shopping lease deals in NC and wanted to get your thoughts on this one:

2019 Cherokee Limited FWD: Total Price = $31,570

Deal: 12k miles/year, 36 months, $314/month with $528 DAS (taxes and first payment)

He first quoted me at $396/month and has come down twice, so I am not sure how much more he will come down. I really want to try and get rid of the DAS money though. What do yall think?

Here is the sticker on the car and the lease sheet they gave me. Sorry if the quality is poor!

They are giving zero discount. At all. Shoot for 10-12% discount before the incentives.

Sorry, I am new to this, but where are you seeing that they give 0 discounts? I assumed there was some discount because the “total” price was $31,570 and the “sales” price on the lease sheet.

Thanks so much!

Look at the sales price, that’s the dealer’s price they’ll sell at. Given the MSRP is $31,570 it means they discounted $1,500 to a sale price of $30,070. A measly 4.8%.

Jeep has really big incentives this month ($4250 rebate) so the key is to get the dealer to discount their sale price a lot more, then stack the incentive on top of that, then you got a deal. I know the Limited has basically 0% money factor and a decent residual for its class, so really is all about getting that sale price low. If you get them to go to 11% off MSRP (about $28k sale price) then your monthly would be in the $250-270 range. Which is pretty solid.

Contact a few other dealers, some out of state, I bet for a Limited FWD they are willing to discount a lottttt since everyone searching for a Jeep (myself included) wants 4x4.

18 Jeep GC have the big incentives. Not the 19 Cherokees.

I’d call a 14% off rebate on a car with a decent 24 month residual a big incentive.

On the 19’s? Try that discount plus over 4K in cash incentives on the 18 GC. Score!!

Yeah they already offered the $4250 rebate on this 19 Jeep so I guess its reasonable that I should be able to get more than 5% off the MSRP as well.

Thanks so much for this! I’m going to reach out to him now.

Yep, 2019 Cherokee, that’s also why I am looking at it. Big incentive relative to MSRP, incentive for dealers to move them (discounted fairly heavily pretty easily), 0% MF on the Limited trims, and a roughly 60% residual on a 24/10 makes it pretty easy to get to around 25-28% off on a $35k car which can make the total lease cost on a very well equipped car just under $250, maybe $220.

The lower trim levels of the cherokee have higher residuals but is offset by an extremely high MF (0.00180).

Well my bad. Haven’t looked at the new Cherokee. Only the GC. Good luck!

Any opinion on letting one dealership know the deal you have at another? I found a better deal (same monthly price but the car is $3k more expensive and has Sunroof & navigation AND lower amount DAS), but now the original dealership is calling saying they will beat what ever price but they want me to send over all the information and the cars VIN number.

Is that cool to give to them or is it better to not let them know exactly what car you have and just make them tell you whether or not they can match that price.

Send them the sales sheet, that’s about the only proof they’ll believe.

I got a fully loaded Jeep Cherokee limited fwd 39850 MSRP for 379.50 with 0 DAS on Aug 31. (they paid my first month)

tech package,upgraded 9 speaker sound system,pano roof,luxury package,tow package,2liter turbo engine.Nav system. Basically every option possible besides the 4x4

You want the 2.0 turbo engine. Its night and day better then the regular 4 cyl and alot better then the v6. Do not get the stock engine, its a crippled experience with the 9 speed at transmission. I love the car. No regrets and I always have buyers remorse. You will thank me later if you upgrade the engine.
