This is precisely what happened with me, and I was told that the payoff quote that Infiniti provides includes the $2,800 – as soon as they get their check, they release the $2,800.

infiniti dealers are unable to buy out a lease with msd at the Post-MSD buyout price. they are unable to receive MSDs.

Why did Nissan tell Autonation Infinity $25k as buy-out price when the contract stated $28k?
sounds like someone’s going to be contacting you for $3k b/c they incorrectly purchased an infiniti lease?
