2019 Infiniti QX50 Essential AWD - Help

,

Hi, what is the MF, residual, and available lease credits for the 2019 Infiniti QX50 Essential AWD currently in CA 94552?

Thanks!

You will need to google on edmunds.com and once you have all of that post it here and experts will help !

  1. I’m am not advanced enough yet to decipher exactly what elements go into his saying that re: “you know this is not a positive transaction on our end.”
  2. He also says " The money factor does not reduce on a one pay lease however. There isn’t much benefit to go that way unless you are wanting to pay it all up front. It would actually save you a couple thousand in total payments.
I’m not really sure about the thousands in payments.
So my question is whether this is a good deal for me? Or a bad deal for him?
My response would be don’t sell me the car if you feel the need to tell the customer it’s not a positive transaction their end!! Unless that’s his reverse sales tactic.
[From the GSM that worked on the deal]

Attached is the lease proposal showing 10k mile lease in the top column and 12k in the lower. Both of these are figured paying the inception fees and first payment at signing which is shown on the right lower side. The money factor on both of these options is .00225 which is based on Infiniti Financial tier 1 leasing.

I asked about the MF not being lower for the One pay and asked a few other questions. This is the response.

[From the GSM that worked on the deal]

You are exact on the money factor and residuals/lease cash on both trim levels. The money factor does not reduce on a one pay lease however. There isn’t much benefit to go that way unless you are wanting to pay it all up front. It would actually save you a couple thousand in total payments. If you are this educated on the terms of the lease then you know this is not a positive transaction on our end. Let me know if you want to move forward and I will be in all day to answer any questions regarding it.

I assume what you’ve done here is copy and paste a dealer email to you, without any context to us. What is your question?

Thank you for pointing out that I indeed had left out my questions. They have been edited in. Hope that helps.

Part of the post was from the dealer but any info that I obtained from a source was cited. ***sort of

In essence, I did what this person suggested and then I got answers to these questions but for my own area of course! Then I got a quote from a dealer, well actually 2 quotes but maybe not…I got confused for a second. I then posted that quote, with the other requested info as recommended to this thread in hopes of having the experts do what they do and give me feedback about the info from the 2 quotes, as well as, the statements from the GSM, I received. I guess I could have saved some time and just asked if anyone thought either quote was a good deal or not.
Now, did I answer your question?

You’re dealing with a salesman that is either ignorant to what a one pay is (quite likely, as most don’t even know how normal leases work) or being intentionally obtuse.

There isn’t much benefit doing a one pay unless you want to pay it up front and save thousands? Yes, that’s how one pays work. You pay it up front. You save money because the mf is lower.

The essential just lease poorly now, high MF and low RV. You may try Luke trim if you really want QX50, RV is 3% higher, and you need to be more than 20% off and max MSD to get an ok deal.

I received this quote from a competing dealer the next day.

"MSRP 58,335
Sale price on IFS lease 50,693 (this included the dealer lease cash listed below)

39 month 12k lease paid monthly would be 748 + tax * I have not looked up KY taxes and fees. The money factor used here is .00255 with a 52% residual.

The same term paid upfront would have the payment of 687 + taxes fees. Money factor .00181 and same residual."

Compared to this response from the first dealer.

You are exact on the money factor and residuals/lease cash on both trim levels. The money factor does not reduce on a one pay lease however. There isn’t much benefit to go that way unless you are wanting to pay it all up front

Have there been any deals posted for the Luxe that see ~> 20% off?

Last month there was a qx50 Luxe deal in marketplace had like 22% off.

There is $5700 in rebates. They need to provide at least 7,300 off before rebates for this to start making any sense…which makes a total of $13,000 off MSRP. That would put you a little over $600/mo.
What is up with that crazy mf also…

which MF are you talking about?

The 0.00225. That is ridiculous. I know Acura has those money factor’s but they are in the 15k-17k range in disocunts! I know for high 400s you can get an MDX Tech AWD. As much as I love Infiniti, the $700 payment is b.s.

Ridiculous as in inaccurate or as in too high?

It’s very high. While it’s not marked up, it is still very high from the factory. The MF is what kills a reasonable payment! For almost $250/mo less you can lease a nice Acura MDX Tech SH-AWD with 0 down. Might as well get an MDX and a Q50 3.0T, and you will still be paying less altogether

MF on the MDX is the same. While it’s high, that’s not all that makes the payment high.

This is for the Single pay and it’s is still higher

It’s still in the 700’s with 0 down…
