2019 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T Manual Transmission 36/12K $359 per month, $814 DAC. How is this?

First time poster, long time reader. I am in the market for a 2019 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T car with a manual transmission, which has been very difficult to find. Went to the dealer armed with the knowledge gained from this forum and was given these numbers because they are a Costco dealership so I tried to get a deal using the costco membership:

MSRP: $31,100
Price with discount: $27,300
Monthly payment: $359
Term: 36 months, 12k miles
Residual value: $17,379
Due at Signing: $814.81 which includes the first month’s payment.
Location: Lake County, Illinois

I know the rest DAS includes the docking fee (I think he said was $170) and new license plates. He did not print out anything so I do not have any other specifics. He also said that he cannot change the money factor, it is set by Honda. He says it is 53%. I did not agree to anything, I walked out saying I would think about it.

How does that deal look?

Nice car - I picked up an automatic 2.0t Sport from Valley Honda in Naperville IL the last week of August for $346/mo for 15k miles (with $500 college grad applied - works for masters programs too) with a similar DAS and MSRP. The 12k mikes a year was ~325/mo. I would recommend calling them and telling the price you want with 0 DAS except plates and fees (and first month if you want). I had to call 5-6 dealerships to even get someone to go under $350/mo for 12k miles/yr.

That’s the RV.

You need to ask the MF on Edmunds forums

I forgot to mention that I did, they said 56%. How can I get that confirmed or in writing?

Again, that’s not the MF

Does .00056 sound right? That’s from Edmunds, not the dealer.

That sounds kinda low but I’m new here so what do I know. For reference, the MF for a 2019 Accord EX-L in my area is twice that at 0.00103.

Yes - that is right. Honda cannot mark up any special MFs through American Honda Financial.

If you used the Costco Program that is supposed to be a no-haggle, bottom price. Don’t expect much of anything after you get the costco discount.

I’m planning on looking at the same Honda at the Naperville dealership. Is there someone you can suggest I speak with because that deal, if i could still get it, is pretty darn good.

I spoke with someone although I can’t remember his full name, his last name was Rodriguez.
