I went shopping around gm dealers in socal and came up with this deal tonight:
2019 terrain SLT FWD
MSRP: 31,895
Net Price: 25,150
1400 drive off
244/mo plus tax or 267/mo with tax
36months/10k mi
Residual: 56%
Also was offered one pay at $8,850.
*** Includes asian conquest (competitive car lease) and costco discount.
I took that deal to several other dealers and found one who could beat it. He offered 249/mo with tax and the same $1400 drive off. He is going to confirm the one pay amount tomorrow. I am likely going to sign this week and will let you know what happens. Once I close the deal I am happy to share the winning dealers info.
Got it, do you foresee next month as being better or worse? My wife’s car lease expires in february but her tires are running low sort of forcing us to make a decision sooner with the rain we’ve been getting.
Aren’t the rebates/incentives alone $5000? Only $1700 off MSRP for discount, I think you should be able to do better? I’m looking for one too and I have an offer for $3500 off MSRP for a LS (or whatever the lowest model is called)
There was recently a post regarding this vehicle from a dealer in GA that was offering them for approximately $180. The post was closed because the OP wasn’t being straightforward about some information, but I know that some people are working with the dealer. Maybe follow up with them (based on their posts) and of the deal is legit, it might make sense to have the vehicle transported.
The SLE and SLT are pretty different pricewise and optionwise.
Regarding rebates, the competitive lease is 1500 and costco is 300-700 depending on membership level. I actually dont have the costco membership and they claimed you need to have had it for 3 months before signing the contract. Therefore, I took the original deal i received to the second dealer and was able to lower the payments by close to 20/mo and not use costco membership.
Feel free to share the 5k worth of rebates if you know them offhand and I will gladly use them to get it down!
Your lease already includes these rebates. 0% chance they could quote you a lease that low without them. The dealer is correct about Costco. You had to be a member before the sales event started
I did receive a quote for 24mo and it was a higher monthly payment by 20$ or so. Is that typical? My rationale on 24vs36 month lease is that yes you have to buy tires probably, but you also pay the disposition fee more frequently which offsets this. Is there any other reason to do a 24mo lease over the 36? Maintenance?
I’m trying to work on an AWD Equinox lease right now to replace the one I need to return this week. I have a quote in email for $32k msrp 12k/yr 39mo $279 a month including taxes in MA. Still gotta iron out the details, just sharing since they are kind of twins.
You’ll have to ask for the wear and tear amount, I lease a Chevy and while I don’t have the paperwork in front of me I believe it’s $750 so you could be off the hook with tires…You only pay the disposition fee once at the end if you turn it in, always worth going to carmax to see if they’ll buy it as if you can sell it you don’t pay that fee. Also a FYI, GMF currently lets you extend your lease for up to six months
Signed that SLE deal in GA. 199 /199 DAS and mentioned details in another Terrain post here. You can get it down to 175 as the ad mentions as I got a 599 dealer charge thrown into the deal…explanation was FL registration and taxes…but I didn’t fight it due to getting close to what I wanted dealwise.
You have to go through the contact and details in closed topic. Follow instruction in first post. It was closed due to OP not disclosing being a broker, but the deal was honored by dealer or close to it.
