Hi, I’ve been looking at some Sierra Denali’s and received a pretty competitive number from a dealer, but just wanted to run it by the LH community before I proceed. The dealer is claiming 2019 Sierra lease support ends in October. Is this true? Please see below numbers I was able to get, unfortunately I’m missing some of the details:
MSRP: $61,365
GM Educator Program: $57,800
Final Sale Price: $47,993
Terms: 39 months 15k miles
Where are you located? Monthly payment, DAS, residual, MF?
New Jersey.
Monthly Payment - $489 (inclusive of tax) DAS $1500
Waiting to hear back tomorrow on residual and MF. The salesman didn’t disclose residual and MF during our call. We were discussing a different model at first, but he called me back this particular one which was side swiped on the lot. He was initially quoting me for same MSRP vehicle @ $589 w/ 2500 DAS. Called back regarding the side swiped model with the new numbers.
If that payment is true, it’s a total steal.
However my guess is that this is a classic bait and switch and he was just spitballing numbers to try to get you to come in. I just don’t see how that payment is possible given this truck’s MF, RV and incentives (at least in my region). But you need a dealer sheet to confirm. Don’t step foot in the dealer until you’re provided with all the details.
You can ask for residual and MF on the specific Edmunds forum along with any incentives you may qualify for so you can plug in the numbers into the calculator.
Turns out the salesman priced it out for 12k miles not 15k. 12k would be $521/month. RV is 61% for 12k miles 59% for 15k miles. Unfortunately going to have to pass.
That’s a very good deal for sale price on a 19’ Denali. Could you pass along the dealer by chance?
