2019 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium Trim Lease

Yeah they refused to budge on the APR , they said that the current deal leaves them with no profit and the 1% pad gives them something from this deal.

the diff is only about $8/month; at least the math works out!

You think that first quote was a doozey, check out what I just received:

How on earth am I quoted a payment over $700 a month with a net total that’s as low as the other two quotes?

that net number is just the gross cap cost and not relevant. note how they excluded disclosing MF and residual % ; also, where is your X-plan pricing before the lease cash?

i’d ignore that dealer

Ok, so here is an offer, for the color I wanted the most (everyone else said they can only get black but I want Velocity Blue) after going back and forth they gave me this:

So, $369 a month, 0.5% APR with a Residual of 37% = $14,313.45 buy out.

This is ~$4 a month more than my lowest offer but it’s in the color I really want.

Ask for the lease worksheet. What they gave you is crap. Too much missing. Also, I thought the residual was 38%, not 37%.

The original deal was miscommunicated, 38% was for 10,500 miles not 12k.

I’ll ask for the worksheet right now

Here it is

Okay. This is a sign and drive. They’re capping the first payment (368.01). All calculations were done correctly. Fees of 815.50 appear to consist of the 645 acq fee, 85 doc fee, and 85 dmv fee. There is a 9.3% MSRP discount which is a little better than last time but, I’m still concerned about the weak discount.

Reasonable deal as is. The capped tax of 500 really helps as well as buy rate MF and full lease cash of 9507. If this is the color you really want, i don’t see it getting much better. You could wait until EOM but that may result in your car being gone. You’re in a good position.

Not a single dealer that I’ve contacted would budge from 35,076.16. They all stopped at that exact number. $368 a month is an easy pill to swallow for me and is definitely great progress from $399, so thanks again for your advice the last few days!

Yeah I am happy with this deal, so yesterday I decided to go and sign some paperwork to start the process of them acquiring the vehicle from another dealer in DC. Once the car arrives (estimate friday) I’ll then sign the lease. Thanks for your advice the last few days as well!

Sounds like you got a good deal. Enjoy your new ride!
