You will still have to pay a mill tax on it

Yeah my total payment with all tax is 550

you did ok, at 55k msrp I would have started looking at lariats but that’s just me. I think you could have gotten more off sticker but your deal is fine at the current point in time.

That’s what I was thinking but here in CT the Lariat Supercrews weren’t working out the same and this is a fully loaded XLT…everything but bed liner and FX4 package. I figured if I waited until January I could maybe do better but I more or less needed it now.

even platinums and limited’s don’t come with bedliner, most dealers try to add it on later. It’s roughly $500 for a linex liner. A fully loaded lariat is 60k so 5k to me would be worth cooled seats, 360 cams, lane keep assist, acc, etc. etc. The issue you would probably run into is that they wouldn’t discount a lariat too much unless you search the entire region. When you fully loaded up the xlt, lariat and platinum there’s not too much of a gap in there

It goes something like

55k fully loaded xlt
60-62k fully loaded lariat
65k fully loaded platinum

I’m also in CT and confused. I thought the mill rate / property tax on a lease is based on the NADA value so somewhere around MSRP $54,900 in the first year. I live in Fairfield so I’d get a tax bill for around $1500 based on that MSRP. I am picking up my first lease later on this week so I am still not exactly sure how it works.

Ford credit has a flat rate for all of CT, in my case it works out to 60 a month or 2160 for the three years, I would pay more than that in property tax the first year alone if it wasn’t averaged out for the whole state.

You think I could have found a Lariat in similar spec for the about the same price? I wish the retail cash deals applied to a lease, I only got 5000 off after dealer discount. Shockingly through x plan it was more money.

you would have to travel but yeah.

Guess it pays to look around, that’s a steal

probably a lot of purchase and bogus incentives but md is very strict on doc fee, I’m willing to bet you could have done 12-15k off msrp.

Dc metro area is great for truck deals, some of the best f150 discounts in this area.

I’m here in CT too. Looking to get f150 with 8 ft bed. Any suggestions which dealership is easier to negotiate here in CT.

I would say it’s worth shopping around at Colonial in Danbury, Park City in Bridgeport, Ford of Branford and Shaker In Watertown. Put those guys against one another and see what they can do.

Where did you get your truck?

Shaker Family Ford, Watertown.
