Usually these insanely high quotes are from a company that wants to say no to someone who doesn’t fit their risk profile, but can’t for regulatory reasons. They have to quote you something, so they just quote you something bad enough to make you go away.
I have no idea why they would want to here, but it happens all the time.
Property managers (res & commercial) use brokers so that’s one place to start.

Yeah, the monthly means nothing without the deductible amounts, coverages, etc. I’m paying over $100/month on my Q50S and I have $1K deductibles.
For reference - my insurance would drop $12/month if I swapped out for a '17 C300. So if he is paying ~$50/month for full coverage on it, that is a decent price to me.
esurance does not insure a car if the value is more than $75k. If your car is below that, they have great premiums.
I’m looking at getting the 2019 c43 and just requested a quote from esurance. Basic coverage was $150 ($1000 deductible) , and a the mid level coverage ($500 deductible) was $185. I’m a 25 male with a clean driving record. Just as example for you.
