Preferred is actually the lowest trim. I initially wanted Essence trim, but the dealer said that would be $500/mo. I will read that, but I am almost turning away from this cute car and going to Jeep or Nissan. :frowning: I’ll definitely put update and the deal I sign.

Dealers by design are set up to hit you high and work their way down as little as possible. That’s why I suggested a broker if you don’t want to become a PhD in leasing for one deal. If you contact a Jeep or Nissan dealer, you’re probably going to be run through the ringer just the same.

Where upstate are you? I suspect you’re also in a less competitive market.

I can see 2018 encore deals in NY with $4-5k dealer discount off msrp not including rebate. The dealer is pullung a fast one on you. Find a diff dealer. You shoult not be paying that much for encore.
