Looking for some feedback on the following lease I received. Its a 2019 BMW x4 M

Months/Annual Mileage: 36 Months / 10K
Zip Code: 07960
MSRP: $64,487

lol no?! Not even for a 2019??

This is nowhere in the neighborhood of a good deal. If you want the car, and love it and will be happy with that payment, go ahead… it’s your money and we can’t tel you how to spend it. However, that’s a horrible deal.

It’s gonna be impossible to get a decent deal on this for a while.

@changehiphop Very true. What would you consider to be a good deal for this car ideally #'s wise?

You may be right. The salesperson said that there are only 3 in the state and if I build one, it wont even hit the assembly line until late September :expressionless:

May I ask what you like so much about the X4 that you’re willing to pay $36K to rent a $62K car for 3 years?

It’s a brand new bodystyle… Upgraded everything… the exhaust… omg.

I’m surprised they are discounting it…

Is it a bad ‘deal’? Sure.

Is it a bad ‘deal’ for this specific car, right now? That’s up to the buyer.

I don’t know that the 2019 can get a good deal, not until Feb-March of 2019 anyway. It’s a whole new redesign, so you won’t get a good deal on this car until it’s been sitting on the lot for a few months and dealers need to move units.

Exactly my point. We can’t tell you how to spend your money! Me personally, I care more about the deal than the car… that’s the former investment broker in me.

I like the SUV capabilities but a sporty sedan feel/ride. I test drove the Macan, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Velar, Acura RDX, and the X4. This is my 1st time leasing a vehicle so I’m trying to make sure I do my research. All of this advice is GREATLY appreciated

Well the advice here is the lease number is unlikely to be good for a new model just released. for 1k monthly, that’s a steep price for a 60k car …

What capabilities? It’s a raised hatchback.

Talking of sport sedans, you can get an M3 for less or a 440i GC for about half

Yea I care more about the deal than the car too. I’m on the market for that compact SUV that feels like a large sports sedan (Semi-Luxury). Not too many options in that arena.

Perhaps, try looking for 2018 X4s?

I drive 2017 X4 M40i now (love it), was actually hoping to upgrade soon, but for ~$1000… I’m sure you can get a Macan S for similar payment or less.

Why pay $1k a month for only 36% of a Porsche? :open_mouth:

The redesigned 2019 looks better to me. Blacked out tail lights mainly

Loaded Alfa Stelvio would do.
p.s. Not sure how RDX got on your list

Alfa Stelvio is my top choice - to HP & torque! Best pricing is now for the first gen 2018 w/o Carplay. Active torque vectoring by braking makes power turns easy. Leases in the $400 range.

Porsche Macan is my second choice - super grippy ride and handling but double the price of a Stelvio.

Last choice is the SH-AWD 2019 Acura RDX - the Advance packaged all wheel drive is awesome to snap around corners and drive sporty for around $600 lease monthly.
