This deal literally took the whole month to get to, and I was only able to get it because the dealer didn’t want to lose my business. I’m pretty sure there were some unhappy people in management there. Was about to sign a car at 48K with similar lease numbers before they one-upped the other dealer.

My main goal was to get these terms on a low 45K i3 BEV. But these cars didn’t last on any of the lots around me. And when they were available I didn’t get a discount past 12% including my OL code (which is about 1% on a ~50k car). I guess it pays to wait until the last day of the month/quarter.

Considering I got this car as a daily driver to save miles on our gas guzzling VW Atlas (which we still love and enjoy with the kiddo and on travels), I’ll actually be saving/netting money when accounting for gas savings in California (87 gas up to $4.20 a gallon), extra mileage I’d have to buy at the rate we drive, and cost for extra car insurance/registration and charging costs at home (already have a level 2 installed form a 530e lease from a few months ago) in addition to the payment.

Great deal! Looks like it was an end of the month deal and dealer wanted to meet their number for the month.

Fantastic! Even as somebody all the way across the country, I never get tired of seeing these i3 deals, especially when combined with a lot of the West Coast incentives✔️

That state and electric company rebate is the real game changer on west coast.

OP: Congrats on sick hack. Amazing deal !

To the rest of the posters who will be reading this thread please take note,

A sick hack takes a whole lot of knowledge, dedication and work to attain. Simply asking for dealer information DOES NOT do $#!8.

Great deal.
Congrats OP!

I haven’t been to a gas station in quite some time…but that seems quite high for a gas price. Did you just happen to find the most expensive gas station in CA and took their prices as average?

That’s how it’s done! Beautiful deal! Congrats!

EDIT: OMG!!! I been on ev for some time and lost track…

"In Los Angeles County, the average price of a gallon of gas is now $4.12, up 32 cents from just last week. Orange County’s hike is slightly steeper, up 34 cents to $4.09 per gallon.

Gas is at $4.08 and $4.03 per gallon, in Ventura County and the Inland Empire, respectively."

Yup, I filled up at an average station for 4.17 on Saturday in LA. I usually do my best to get the cheapest option, and that’s at Costco, but even their prices are near $4.

4.12 gas is great news for EV owners…

For ev car market…yes…for owners…yes and no.
While you do save on fuel with your car, these gas price increases in part get passed down to all consumers on everyday items like food.

Just filled my gas guzzling Toyota Tacoma up yesterday, $2.23 a gallon here in Tampa Bay.

I just put 35 gallons in my Tundra for $2.09/gallon in NC (BP), but that was with a $0.40/ gallon grocery store discount. $4 gas would have me looking to buy a distressed full size SUV from an owner buried under fuel operating costs…

Even at sub $2.50/gal, it was enough for me to justify getting a 3rd car (i3 BEV) as a DD and retire the few month old Taco to occasional duty just for fuel savings alone. Well, that plus the fact that I wanted the i3

You guys also notice that the gap between 87 and 93 has gotten huge? Its like a 60-70 cent differential here.

Would you mind sharing which dealership? Very tempting, even though these cars are really not that great

When I had my first car, early 90s, I remember there being a $0.10 difference between grades. Those were the days.
