Looking to lease a 7 series and found a 2019 that’s a prior demo. Is this treated as new car lease? I’m wondering if the Flagship credit/cash would apply to a deal on this car? Thanks in advance.
Yess sir…
So that’s good news. If I’ve understood the advice here, I shouldn’t bring up the flagship until the very last minute, right?
It’s not like they’re going to advertise a price not including flagship and then drop it by 10k because you asked.
It’s actually advertised at MSRP, if you can believe it. My sense from reading here is that 1) people are getting really good deals on 2019s (like 20ish% below MSRP) before the flagship credit and 2) there’s a little grumbling when it’s brought up after the first round of discounting. Perhaps I’ve misunderstood?
You should definitely bring it up. But if you think a dealer is going to discount another 10k (or whatever) after you agree on a price, you’re smiling somethinng.
20% before flagship on new is not common on these vehicles. You may be confusing flagship with loyalty.
If you’re talking about loaner, maybe. But I’d bring up the flagship early, not late (make it clear that you want 15-20% pre all bmw incentives including flagship)
What would the flagship discount be and does it apply to 2020s & 2019s alike?
Dealer offered it on a 2020 I am looking at now, but only when I was walking away at the deal they put on the table for an M760i
What did they offer you?
It was about $9K additional off
I’ve seen $5k somewhere here or Edmunds on the 2020 7 flagship cash. That was a 740/750. I can see the 760 having more as the sticker and profit Is much larger.
Maybe a dealer or broker can chime in and confirm.
What was the lease quote?
5 isn’t far off.
A bit cryptic on the rely @Electric
