Lease newbie but I have been trying to digest all the valuable information offered here and would really appreciate feedback on this lease offer for a 2019 BMW 330i xDrive.
Please see the deal I am working on with a dealer in Oregon: Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2019 BMW 330i xDrive MSRP: $ 52,700
** Rebates:$ 2250 (lease cash, conquest, corp) I have gotten an OL code and will with dealer Months: 36 Annual Mileage: 12,000 MF: 0.00128 Residual: 60%
** Payments: $0 down with inception costs due at signing
The dealer originally quoted me this: It was calculated using a MF of .00168 and had a 599 add on.
I requested the dealer to use base MF .00128 and take off the $599 add-on. Below is the updated quote he gave me which includes inception costs [registration/titling/doc fee, first payment and tax on rebate]:
There are some discrepancies I am noting with the dealer calculation and the leasehackr calculator that I am hoping someone can help me better understand. I understand doing MSD will help lower my monthly payments. Thoughts | Advice? Thank you in advance!
Yes, I understand doing MSDs will help lower my monthly payments (looks like potentially by 29/month) so I was considering that.
My biggest issue is the discrepancies with the dealer calculation and the leasehackr calculator, which I think has to do with how the dealer is plugging in the numbers, any advice on that?
You are counting the incentives twice and the $599 add-on was not removed. Below is my calculation. Keep in mind that this is a $0 down payment deal, not a $0 due at signing deal.
Thank you, this was very helpful! I will have them recheck on the 599 add-on, from the original offer they had quoted me they were using MF of .00168 and had the 599 add-on so the discount was 5,591.74 which he has bumped up to 6789.74.
This is the breakdown that he provided using .00128 for the MF:
