Any feedback appreciated.

  1. Anyone think I can get a better deal?
  2. Thoughts on adding Audi Care? Would cost 895 (normally 995, I have 100 off coupon). Adds 1% to residual, so reduces my depreciation or total lease cost by $609 (not taking into account tax, interest, etc). First oil change at 10K free with Audi, then the Audi Care would kick in for the 2nd year oil change, and I would return before 3rd year). In CA, you get 50% refund from Audi Financial after you return the lease if you’ve only used it for 1 oil change. So, I would get a check back for ~ 450. Total ends up about net even if my calculations are correct?

Dealer discount is under 10%, but it still sounds like a good deal.

I agree with Jon, the pre-incentive discount is at 9.2%. You could probably get closer to 12-15% since it is a 2019.

This seems to be a 24/10K lease. Maybe check Edmunds to see if there is a more favorable lease term?

~19% in total discounted on an S5 is pretty good. If Audicare ends up saving you money due to residual seems like a good move. Also, that means you don’t have to pay out of pocket for first oil change.

Sorry- left it out of original post, added lease terms 36 months/7.5K miles. I had the same thought about preincentive discount being only 9%, though with incentives comes to ~23% off MSRP.

Sounds like a killer deal. Most S5 deals I’ve seen are around $550/mo. Well done!

You should focus on the pre-incentive dealer discount. Incentives come from Audi and not from the dealer. As someone stated, aim for 12-15% off MSRP, given it is a 2019 model.

Good luck.

I wouldn’t focus on that post-incentive discount as much. Those incentives are going to be there regardless of the dealer discount.

Get the dealer discount higher and that would make it a better deal. I cannot answer to the use of AudiCare since I have no experience with it, but even if it costs a bit more then taking it to an independent shop it might be worth it to be able to just take it to the dealer and not have to worry about anything.

It’s worth it, also considering you’ll get a refund for $450 at lease end. Keep the audicare.

Personally don’t see that high of a discount happening when supply is limited and sellers are looking for gross instead of volume.

But hey, anything is possible
