2019 Audi S4 P+

It also depends on how close/convenient an Audi dealer and other independents are.

I have multiple independent mechanics specializing in German cars within 10 min from me, so personally I wouldn’t even add Audi care to a lease in which I’m expecting to pay for 2 services (eg. 36/12 or 39/10).

they say threatening crap like if something needs service and wasnt maintained properly it could void warranty

as far as the lease they cant do anything about it

It’s in your lease contract that you agree to properly maintain the car, but, by law they can’t force you to only use authorized dealerships.

Highly recommend you look for the manufacturers recommended maintenance interval schedule for any car you buy. You maybe surprised by what you see on there that’s “required” for maintaining.

It’s usually more than just oil changes.

I mean, I’ve leased 3 cars already and never had any issues beyond maintenance and tire rotation. Nissans and Jeep.

This is why I take my car to an German independent rather than jiffy lube. They have the audi guidelines and they know what needs to be done, and what doesn’t.

Luckily, all the maintenance for the first few services is really basic and cheap.

These aren’t “issues” they’re just maintenance intervals, haha.

I mean issues, as in problems, upon lease return.

I’m not making the point that there would be issues. I’m just saying there is a list of maintenance intervals for every car. You were wondering what the significance of audicare was and why would someone spend 1k dollars on it for just three oil changes.

There’s more to the maintenance than just three oil changes. Also, I’ve owned German cars. The intervals need to be followed. Japanese cars will still work fine regardless of if it’s followed properly; but Germans make cars that need to be maintained properly. Then they’ll work as intended :P.

Germans don’t pull any punches with the maintenance.

1st service - check brake system, check cooling system, engine bay, tire wear, windshield washer, wiper blades, oil and filter

2nd service- all of the above again… plus battery terminal, transmission leaks, doors, drive shaft, exhaust, replace pollen and dust filter, headlight adjustment, horn, front and rear axle, instrument cluster, interior lights and glove box light, on board tool kit check, clean and lube guide rails and check sunroofs or pano, brake light check, test drive, safety belt check, underbody check, visual chassis check for corrosion, wheel house liners

a car with 15,000 mile, a bit excessive and just a big list of look the car over. actual work done is change the oil, 2 filters, lube the sunroof and refill windshield fluid

Sorry haven’t been back to update. The original offer fell through. The car was sold the following morning. I’ve since received another offer of 11.5% off MSRP but it seems that a lot of the numbers don’t add up. It looks as though the incentives are being included in the 11.5%. I’m also still waiting on an answer regarding MSDs.

So it’s $659 with $2683 DAS? The other offer was just 1st month DAS, right? Also looks like the sell price is $55,957? That’d be just 8% off before the $2500 incentive

That’s what it looks like. Doesn’t seem like a good deal unless the 11.5% is applied prior to incentives. $61,040 MSRP - 11.5% = $54,020.40 - $2,500 = $51,520.40.

Ya looks like 8% before incentive. Weak. When are you looking to take delivery?

I’ve sent him a message regarding the 11.5%. Waiting for a response. If the deal is right, I’d finalize today.

Let me know how you make out, this is one of 3 cars on my short list. Started getting prices and seems like you are doing better than me in NYC/ NJ

Looked into leasing all weekend and here is the options and the deal in place:

Mythos black with Magna Red interior
Premium Plus package
Black optic package
S Sport package
Dynamic steering
B and O
Carbon Atlas Inlays
Audi Beam rings
All weather S4 mats

Total MSRP $64,040.

I got all the strong programs for March with owner loyalty

39 month lease
12k miles a year
3k down payment which includes first months payment
$670 a month which included audicare ($1000) and tire and wheel covered for life of the car ($1500)

Was able to negotiate the audicare and tire and wheel into the monthly payment at a discount.

I truly think i got a steal of a deal. Money factor was 0.00060. I think i saw somewhere that $55,496.40 is the Adj Cap on the car after all discounts.

Any thoughts on this deal?

That’s $740ish all in. I think it’s a tad high esp with loyalty. Did you sign yet? What state are you in? Do you really think you need the tire and wheel? Bc without it, you’d drop the payment by like $40 and sweeten the deal a lot

Where are you getting 740? Like i stated before its 670 all in payment. Yes if i put 0 down it would be 740. I’m in NJ. Mind you this is a fully loaded (64k) S4. You still think its high? I talked to about 5 different dealers in my area and they all couldnt match this.

Absolutely need the tire and wheel. Went through 6 rims and tires on my S3 lease. Well worth it in NJ.
