First Audi for me. Just went out and negotiated discounts based on the forums here. Tried hard to get above 20% off msrp but 5 dealers said no and I didn’t want to wait till February.
Also, didn’t even know the SE trim existed. For anyone looking for a 2.0 P+ this is the way to go. It has the best bang for your buck!
Numbers below are with Audi care. Adding it to lease made sense to get a 1% residual bump. Overall cost goes down to about $540 or so for Audi care when added to lease
Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2019 Q7 2.0 P+ SE
MSRP: $60510
Selling: $48408 (20% off)
Monthly Payment: $514 + tax ($561 with 9.25% tax)
Drive-Off Amount: $1260
Months:36
Annual Mileage:12
MF:.00133
Residual:56% (57% with audi care)
MSD: Max of 9. I was told by finance that Audi only allows 9 max. Didn’t know that.

Car is phenomenal. Virtual cockpit is amazing. 2.0 is definitely a bit underpowered if you’re transitioning from a slightly more powerful SUV. I test drove the new GLE 2020 for a week and honestly didn’t like it.
It gives you some functions of the warm weather ans cold weather package without adding the significant cost. 4 zone climate control. Ventilated seats. Heated exterior mirrors. Heated rear seats. Probably a few more. I compared the SE to the base premium plus and there was an msrp difference of about 2K. Plus, the SE trim had a higher residual of 56%. Get more car for less payment.
The premium plus package on the SE is the sweet spot. As already mentioned includes the warm weather package, but more importantly includes Air Suspension. Additionally, you can also get them with the Black Optic package, which is traditionally only on the Prestige models (same with air suspension). The only advantage the Prestige has is HUD, 4 corner steering, and multicolored ambient lighting.
Bay Area dealers are doing this deal, obtained something similar to this but with a 62.5k MSRP. Thanks to OP for posting their deal. In another thread, someone mentioned 20% off all in stock Q7 in Oakland. Did not get an SE, so had the same residual as OP for 10k. Dealer asked not to share, but this should not be difficult. Not sure if programs change tomorrow.
I agree. I picked one up in Dec from Bay Area dealer at 20% on 2.0 P+. Programs were slightly better then they are now, but still getting 20% is not very difficult if you reach out to enough dealers.
I contacted my dealer here, they said “get us a sales contract of your friends deal and we will best it by $30 a month”… but again, dealer is 1.5 hours away so don’t want to waste my time lol
How do you like the ride? Last time I drove it, I felt it was too much car for that small engine. My top pick is bmw still lol
I wouldn’t waste time without getting any offer in writing from any dealer. Before going in, I told my dealer I had an offer in email and I sent it to him. He responded in an email with the lease number on their official letterhead with a signature. I also had to drive an hour to go see him
Q7 drive is super smooth. 2.0 engine is plenty for regular drives.
If you’re not satisfied, try the XC90. BMWs are nice but payments are at least a $100 bucks higher and the ride is nowhere near as smooth as the Audi. I also have an X5, so I can compare them easily
