2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Sport UPDATE

Made a post yesterday giving stats about a lease quote I was given on a 2019 Giulia Ti Sport. Well I contacted a different dealer today and they gave me some interesting numbers.

Model: 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Sport AWD
MSRP: $53,040
Selling Price: $43,040 (this is also with FCA EP)
% OFF MSRP?: roughly 18.9%

Monthly Payment: $492. (24 vs 36 months are only $10 difference for each downpayment. I’d rather do 24 so I can get a new car sooner.)
Months: 24 mo.
Mileage: 15k/year
Total Due at Signing: $3,000

Was quoted yesterday $545 for 36 months with almost 2k down. All of these are through Ally.

Still have to figure out what to do with my Jeep lease. Other dealer wanted to roll in $1,800 into the 3 year lease. This new dealer is saying they’re going to try their best to get me out of it completely by appraising the car and possibly putting it on their lot IF it breaks even, or even try and get Ally to significantly reduce it.

We’ll see. If they can get me out (or out with a significantly cheaper payoff), I feel the ~$500/mo isn’t too bad. It’s not great, but it’s still a kick ass beautiful car. I’m just annoyed how bad Alfa leases have become. Was hoping I’d be able to get into it for around $399 a month. I can still negotiate the price, but I can’t see them going below $450/mo.

Sales manager was eager to email me back and pressured me to come in ASAP. Hopefully it means they’re eager for a sale!

Deal seems in line with what dealers are discounting. The one thing you have to keep in mind, and it may be stating what you already know, is that there is a wide range of pricing on these cars based on options. This one at 53k will be fairly optioned up. You can get into the range of high 300s per month with a car in the mid 40s.
