Hey guys, let me know what you think of this deal.
36 month lease, 12k miles per year.
$3000 down which includes all taxes and fees.
Dealership also paying off my car, paying around $1000 over its value.
Buyout at least end $27,900.
Monthly payment $400 per month
So I ended up getting Acura Mdx Tech in white. 3,000 down. 430 first month payment and comes out to 430 per month. They also paid over value for my trade in in order to pay it off.
Effective month payment is 472. My best quote for base is 465 after several rounds of negotiation around beginning of this month. Yours is not bad. But finally gave up due to outdated interior design.
Ok thanks, I’ve been going back and forth with the dealer. I know there’s not many bases left out there. My problem is they are only willing to do this deal on one particular color.
No way. The MDX rides and handles waaaayy better than a QX60 (Pathfinder), not even close. I took a turn in a QX60 once at 20mph and though it was going to flip, legit worried.
Both cars are in the same class and it boils down to personal preferences… QX60 and MDX are not sports cars and my QX60 performs well in sharp turns. Both cars are dated and probably next year we will see them redesigned.
However, you can get 2019 QX60 Pure anywhere from $230 to $300 a month with 0 down. 2019 MDX base will be from $450 to $520. The price difference is significant! You can lease two QX60 or one MDX. So yes, QX60 is a better value for the money.
Additionally, if you want to say that Pathfinder = QX60, then the following statement is also true MDX = Honda Pilot…
MDX has carplay and android auto integrated in its outdated system which may make a huge difference for some people. If I were getting a QX60, this is what I am going to install.
Good point, but again the price difference is insane for cars in the same class. In my area base MDX leases for $500 a month and QX60 for $300. This is $2400 annually or 39 x $200 = $7800 for the term of the lease.
I would love to have CarPlay, but not for $200 a month…
I have a lease offer in CA for MDX AWD w/tech for $450 (includes tax) per month and $2500 down. 10k miles. 36 month lease. The msrp is 52,295 and selling price is 43,995. $30,303 RV. Is this a good deal?
$2500/36 = $70
Your monthly payment with 0 down is $520. You should ask them for a 0 down quote as it limits your risks and makes it easy to compare quotes. Please read Leasing 101 https://leasehackr.com/blog?category=Leasing%20101
Additionally, it will help if you put your numbers in the lease calculator https://leasehackr.com/calculator and share your link with us so we know things like doc fees, taxes, MSDs, incentives…
Based on the selling price and MSRP your discount is 16% what is good for MDX.
$520*12 = $6240 - your annual lease cost based on the numbers you’ve provided.
It also equals to 62.4 cents for each mile you drive for the first 30k miles.
Every. Single. Thread. Infiniti is always going to be the best lease deal, Q50, QX50, QX60 etc… There has to be a reason they aren’t the #1 seller of luxury cars in America.
In this case, i think MDX is generally superior for its driving dynamics. But with the MDXs also outdated interior and without Acuras excellent AWD system, it would be tough to justify the MDXs premium. So maybe here Infiniti is the answer.
I am biased since I chose MDX over Infiniti but I got AWD+tech package and care about driving dynamics more than average three row crossover buyer.
