2019 A220 4MATIC Offer Feedback

Got this offer yesterday on the Mercedes 2019 A220. I really like the car but I don’t think it’s leasing very well and I can’t really justify $450/mo for an entry level compact car. I’m wondering if anyone else has done/seen better, particularly on the price.

MSRP: $42525
Selling Price: $38,000
Monthly Payment: $452
Drive-Off Amount: $2000 (mostly fees including 1095 acquisition which seems high)
Months: 36
Annual Mileage: 10,000
MF: .00106
Residual: 59%
Incentives: None
Region: Boston
Leasehackr Score: 7.5

You could do better.

Yeah they didn’t seem too willing to budge from 38, which is why I left. I’m in no rush so time will tell if they can go lower or I can look at different dealers/brands.

The acquisition fee should be $795 before they marked it up.

That’s not the worst of it, their disposition fee is equally onerous.

You could probably get into a decently specced C class for the same payment, pass on this.

Yes, I’m getting ready to turn in my CLA45 AMG lease in a couple of months, and I’m so not looking forward to that.

I completely agree. I like the A class partly because in theory it should be a more affordable option but I’ve honestly yet to see a deal on it that I’d say is really worth it.

In my opinion, Sofyan Bey from Redline Reviews publishes the best car reviews on Youtube. He reviewed the A220 last week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03p53OCEV_g

It has an incredible amount of tech for an entry level car.

Yeah it’s certainly a nice car. I test drove it yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the power it had, too. I also just feel like it should objectively be cheaper than a mid-optioned c class, but maybe I’m wrong on that.

It’s the hot new toy and will lease poorly as a result. I mean, the heart wants what the heart wants but for the value proposition it’d be a hard pass for me even if I wasn’t a true blue Bavarian fan.

I have to ask because I’ve seen you say neither the CLA 250 or the A 220 are going to lease well and thus far in my research, you’ve been spot on. What leases well :joy::joy:? I’m asking so I just cut to the chase and start looking at better deals and cars!

Hi All,

Wanted to get an idea of this offer is a good/fair/meh deal from the dealership.

Merc A220
MSRP: $37,955
Monthly Payment: $370(including tax)
Drive-Off Amount: $1,226(min drive off amount) , the dealer waived the first two months lease payment(credited the amount from the down payment) so I had to put only $486 down payment
Months: 36
Annual Mileage: 10,000
Residual: 59%
Region: California

Total payments including drive off : $13,776

Effective $373 a month, good deal.

Thanks Jesse.! Was my very first experience leasing a car. Though I did decent bit of research, wasn’t sure of all the nuances at the end when the finance guy was talking. Maintanence package , wear and tear Insurance etc … ended up not taking the wear & tear… not sure if it’s a good idea … I’m not worried about the maintance thing though.

373 / month is absolutely a solid deal.
Meanwhile in NJ a neighbor of mine got a “well loaded” A220 for over 500 a month , and she’s still happy

Ignorance is bliss.

What about this deal for Mercedes 2019 A220 AMG line

You can get a C43 for less so…

How though? Every dealer i went to said that that’s the average considering that the car has all the add ons!!

Hi,

I picked up a decently loaded MSRP $53K C300 4 Matic demo vehicle with 325 pm.I had nothing down just MSDs. Please check for 24 months as for MB it comes better deal.
If someone is looking for 2019 C300 Demo from Chicago area then let me know.
