Signed this deal yesterday, loving the Wrangler JL so far, the top-down driving is awesome. Apparently Jeep had a mid-year price increase and luckily I was able to find a car on the lot that was produced before the increase so it worked out to a better deal. YMMV on availability regarding that. MSRP was $38,875, a “new” one post-increase would be $40,125 for the same options from what I can find. Options include the Quick Order Package 24S, technology group (7" screen/carplay/android auto/etc), convenience group (remote start/garage door opener), automatic transmission, and premium soft top.
I got 11.5% off MSRP with only one $300 stupid dealer add-on (GPS tracking thing) that they already have on every car and wouldn’t remove, no markups on MF/acquisition fee, no other add-on BS. Another dealer had agreed to sell me the exact same build for 11.5% off plus paying $500 towards first-year registration, but then when I got to the dealer they changed the deal on me and wouldn’t do it without an additional $1200+ of add-on crap so I walked. This was the best deal I could find locally and it wasn’t worth going to another state to save another 1%. The best deals possible on a new JL are in the range of 13-14% off MSRP, but those dealers are jacking people around with financing from what I have read.
