Yeah so the deal in MA fell apart because for some reason they tried to change the deal when I went in to the dealer by saying Uber doesn’t qualify for the VW Partners program and my payments would go up ~$13/Mon because of the $500 discount. It still would’ve been a great deal without it but I walked out because I didn’t like their tactics and because I took the paperwork with their offer and figured I’d be able to get another dealer to match.
So I took that deal and kept trying different dealers until I found one in upstate NY that I had to go into in person while visiting my parents and walked out with the deal and just had to wait few days for delivery, no problems with the $500 VW Partners discount. I ended up just registering it in NY so payments went up slightly more because of the 8% NY tax versus 6.25% MA.
