They don’t discount these whatsoever. I test drove one and left unimpressed. But the R has a long following. If you don’t need AWD I’d go for the GTI all day. If you do, s3 leases better with Quattro.

The quattro in the s3 is the same fwd haldex system as the golf r, not the “true” quattro in the rest of the lineup

Thanks for the clarification I didn’t know that. But I was actually just referring to the s3 leasing better in general.

you can probably get an S4 for lower than this price. Also that MF looks way high

Golf R will never ever lease good, Your really better off buying it. I drove mine a year and sold it for 2k less then I paid.
