I know this varies widely from person to person and depends on so many different factors, but I was wondering what those of you who’ve leased 2018 Volvo S90s (especially T6 Momentum or Inscription trims) are paying for insurance. I’m especially curious for New Jersey.
I modeled some estimates and the s90 was about the same cost as a c300/e300, more than a 2017 Hyundai elantra that i investigated in the summer and more than the 2017 expedition that I own.
I’m with USAA in NC, which is more expensive than it has been recently, but still cheaper than NJ to insure (so say all the people from NY and NJ who have recently moved down here). ~80/mth for full coverage. 3 vehicles on policy, auto and home combined. 1 of my drivers is a 17yr old, so that raises costs. Also, the T6 model was only $3 more per month than the T5, so not much difference.
NJ is the worst, no matter what the car. Can’t compare to others, but you can lift a vin number for the car you want from dealer’s site and shop it around. I think it must be 100/300 min.
I’m actually feeling better about what I’m paying, I always thought Florida had super high rates because we are a “no fault” state. I’m paying just under $600 for 6 months for T6 Inscription with GEICO and I carry a low deductible and higher than standard coverage. That’s for my wife and myself but we also have 2 other cars and get a multi-car discount.
