Thanks everyone for all the help!.. I ended up getting it for 2500 drive off plus 2000 msd (which is the max amount of 5 that brought the mf down to .00001) and for 350 a month. (Do I consider myself a hackr now or not yet )
Probably could’ve done a little better with a T6 but I couldn’t find one that was black with the wheels and bowers upgrade.
Fyi…
Turns out the awd base MF for June went up to .00048 and the 4000 dollar incentive dropped to 3200. I believe the FWD MF and incentives is the same as May.
This looks like a great deal. Can you please share the specifics of your deal so I can find out from our local dealers in Houston to see if they could match your deal. Do you have a spreadsheet with all the numbers? thanks
I’m getting ready to pick up the car and I’m having some issues with regards to tax when the dealer tried to register it. I live in New Jersey and the car is being registered in NJ but I got the car from Massachusetts.
For NJ what do I pay tax on?
Is it on the total for the purchase price?
Is it on only the sum of the lease payments? Does this include acquisition?
Also… what is the luxury tax? My sales price including all incentives is below 45k… but without the incentives it’s over 45k… what do I pay in NJ luxury tax?
Go to calculator and enter your numbers with NJ tax rate. This will give you idea.
I want to provide the dealer with links from nj.gov
Yes.
Luxury tax will be 0.4% of the selling price before rebates (if it’s above 45k)
They should be able to calculate it properly, so I wouldn’t be too concerned.
So then search and find the links. Do you expect someone else to do that for you?
@max_g LOL
I can’t find one for stating how to explicitly calculate the amount of tax so I am asking for help.
So i’ve been talking to dealership in SoCal for a while on a t6 momentum S90 and I just can’t get the deal to under $400. Decided to try again and this is what the dealership gave me. Does this look right?
MSRP 61055
Selling 50740
msd 5500
drive off 1400
Costco rebate
36m/10k
Monthly - $558
MF- .00074
Residual 54%
Looks like they’re giving you straight A-plan pricing, so 6% off MSRP. The deals you’re seeing on here were 11-12% off MSRP before incentives, plus better incentives, plus better residual values.
There is room in your deal to get a better rate if the dealers will negotiate past 6% a-plan.
Any advice on how to ask for this? She’s included Costco and conquest.
If they’re including a conquest rebate, it’s probably an even worse deal.
My suggestion? Tell them “I’ll come down today to pick up the car at 11% off msrp before incentives”
Which dealer are you working with? There are some in the area that have been willing to do 10%+ off without too much hassle (Mission Viejo and Rusnak seem to be the ones that were moving the most cars at good discounts in March/April) and others that won’t.
It’s Rusnak Volvo. Just asked and they said it was the best they could do. I’ll check with mission Viejo.
Strange. Rusnak was doing 10% off without any issues.
Yeah… maybe it’s my salesperson? Anyone have a contact from rusnak that’s willing to help? I’ve been in talks with this salesperson since April. Bad deal after bad deal.
Anyone know of any deals for the X60 R Design?
This is the only deal that I’ve been quoted, without MSD’s.

This was the quote 10 days ago. Not really a deal when I used the calculator.
Also, does anyone know if you currently have a lease, will another (completely different dealership) take an existing lease to swap out a new lease with them? And will they give your existing lease any type of trade in value?
