Hi all, I’d like to begin with letting you guys know, I’m really bad with numbers, I just don’t get it when it’s time to have to analyze it deeply. I’ve always negotiated prices down on cars I’ve bought and have helped friends buy but then I found this site but despite all the helpful info I’ve learned on this site, I’m still confused.
I’ve been shopping trucks and the Tundra is the one I like the most. The best deal I’ve gotten so far is the one above. Can you guys let me know if this is a good deal or give me an idea of where I should be at. I read another article on this site that we should never put a downpayment down. My issue is I need the monthly payments to be as low as possible. Or should I just use the cash for the downpayment down towards the monthly payments and do a $0 down. Anyway, I really appreciate any feedback. If this isn’t a good deal or there’s no way to get a “real” good deal on a Tundra, can you guys recommend any other trucks that might be a good deal?
Just go to @Cody_Carter. Why in God’s name are you putting $5000 down? Read the basics on leasing and then reach out to Cody for an easy $0 due at signing lease
Does your payment include taxes?
Actually is not such a bad deal, 36 payments multiplied by $333 and then add $5k ccr (not advisable, roll it in) is a total of $16,988.
Cody’s advertised lease ($445 x 36 payments plus $1,205 DAS) works out to $17,225 plus tax
If you plan to buy it out, then buy it the first time. Otherwise you’re wasting the $600-900 bank fee (varies by bank) and the DMV fees you pay to buy it at lease end. You’re probably paying more interest too. If they charge a disposition, that’s another waste of money.
