2018 Toyota Highlander XLE AWD

Sorry new to this whole thing, so please bear that in mind. The dealer gave me this lease worksheet, but the lease calculator and the worksheet monthly payment doesn’t add up. The calculator has monthly payment including taxes at 250 with 7615 at drive off. 7615 includes fees, 6000 down payment (I know not advisable, we can work on this). However the dealership worksheet shows it at 370 total. I need help figuring out what I am missing. Hopefully the uploaded picture works, first time posting. Thanks!

Dealer’s worksheet doesn’t show anything about $6k down. Their sheet shows $2999 due at signing and monthly payments of $370.76.

What is there to work on? You tell the dealer how much you’re putting toward CCR, not the other way around.

I was getting the 6000 down on the initial payment of 3499 and due on delivery of 2999, this is under the payment section, is that not correct? Sorry, the wife stopped by the dealership to grab the worksheet, so I don’t know much else except for what I see on the worksheet.

I know most say not to put any money down, again this is all new to me, so I am just trying to figure it out. Appreciate the help.

The initial payment of $3499 is comprised of $2999 paid by you and $500 by the rebate.

Oh, that make sense, thanks for the clarification. So you think the deal is good?

Sorry more one question. Is the 3000 customer cash in addition to the 3499 initial payment for a total of 6499?

You Need more off msrp

I thought it made sense to you, but I guess not? I don’t know how else to explain it.

Yeah it is a little confusing with the different numbers, but added everything up and I think I understand it. I’ll work on the MSRP.

No, the 3000 customer cash is the same as the 2999.99 due on delivery (with the unapplied 0.01 floating around). They refer to the same thing.

These sheets are intentionally tricky to decipher accurately. Several ways you can hide profit.

How about we create a leasehackr form that anyone can then present to the dealer to complete.the missing fields.

There is nothing tricky about this sheet and your lucky they even gave it to you, most dealers are so shady that they would not. Like was said before, you need more discount, although they are already at 8%. MF is lower than anything posted on Edmunds so I’m sure not whats up with that, changed maybe.

I wish all dealerships give you a sheet like that
