Honcker app is $429 in my area…same car with $429 DAS. Close enough i guess.

Seems like a lot for an SE model

I’ve been helping people get these for 320-335/mo plus tax and tags. First payment due at signing. My xle deals are coming in around 443/mo with PA tax 9% and tags included. Add multiple security deposits and you can get the payment down about 35-40/mo also

It seemed like the SE was one step down from the Limited (and a slight step up from the XLE), no?

This was my first lease ever. I was aiming for a .0010 MF (before MSDs)but couldn’t get there. I figured it might have something to do with the fact that it’s Southeast Toyota - I read that they’re somewhat of a regional distribution monopoly and so leases prices are about $20 higher in this region.

I think SE is higher trim than XLE, but I noticed on Honcker that the monthly is usually lower.

Sorry I was thinking about LE when I wrote it

300-325/mo for the SE trim (not LE)? The SE is apparently a more premium trim than the XLE. Isn’t it LE < LE Plus < XLE < SE < Limited < Limited Platinum?

Sorry mixed that up. Looks like a decent deal for se based on what my dealer gets them for. They just don’t discount these much

Thats a good deal for the SE trim specially considering its a SETF deal. Did you have the option to use MSD or was the dealer shutting it down?

Didn’t try to do MSDs. Figured I’d use that $$ to pay down some debt (which will net me about $100/mo.).

If that debt is over 15% interest then makes sense. But msds through toyota usually nets you 13-15% on your money

I think most brokers/dealers would agree that anything under 400 a month with zero drive offs on an SE or XLE is pretty much a unicorn. I think OP got a good deal.

Based upon my Tundra lease through SETF, OP could have reduced MF to 0.0004 dropping payment by $65/mth. [My dealer said up to 10 MSDs @0.00009 each, which is different than Toyota in other regions and the LH calc]. But would have been $4500-5000 in MSDs.

Not many ways to get that type of guaranteed return on capital. If you have the means, it’s always worth it to do msds with tfs
