New to this. I have negotiated the following deal on a 2018 VW Tiguan SE 4Motion. Includes sunroof and 3rd row.

MSRP - $31,305
Lease Term - 36 Months
Lease Miles - 10,000/year
DAS - $0
Monthly Price - $345/mo
All fees and taxes (NY) rolled into monthly payments.

I contacted any dealers and this was the best offer by far. Good deal?

I leased a SE 4Motion (no sunroof) from a dealer in Dayton Ohio for 300/mo with 1st DAS. I don’t know about NY area but in Midwest there are deals to be had.

I am looking for the same 2018 VW Tiguan SE 4Motion w/ sunroof and 3rd row - have a few offers, including from a couple lease brokers, but this is the best info I have:

MSRP - $31,065
Price - $27,600
Lease Term - 36 Months
Lease Miles - 7,500/year
RV - 59%
MF - .00120
DAS - $0 (just first month; ~$1980 of fees and NY taxes rolled into monthly payments)
Monthly Price - $399/mo

So yours seems like a much better deal…

I have a more general question though - if you pay the taxes up front in NY/NJ, why would there still be a tax component to the monthly lease payment??? I feel like taxes are getting double counted…?

I thought VW was 12k a year for the lowest allowed.

All the VW dealers in NYC area are offering 7.5K - not sure if it might be different where you are…
