That’s effectively $450/month.
I mean, people who want a WRX are set on a WRX and that’s what they want, but no, it’s terrible for $450/month. For a WRX it’s probably ok. You really rather drive a WRX, which is ancient in car years, than say a $42k Benz or Audi? Not only will a C300 or A4 (among a plethora of other luxury cars) be cheaper monthly payments, they’re probably cheaper to insure, too.
With the resale value of WRX and STI models, I really think in the absence of subvented leases, definitely better to purchase instead and sell when you’re done. I’ve always wanted one but can’t bring myself to pay what people want for nice condition, low mileage used ones. When I see a great finance incentive, I’ll buy a new one.
