2018 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium with EyeSight

Here are the 2 deals i received from 2 different dealers (WA state):

Dealer #A
MSRP: 31,7500
Sales Price: 25,975
Duration/Miles: 36mo/15K
Residual: 56%
Downpayment: $1500
Monthly payment (with tax): $289
Monthly payment (with tax & $1590 pre-paid service plan): $340

Dealer#B
MSRP: 31,7500
Sales Price: 29,475
Duration/Miles: 36mo/15K
Residual: 56%
MF: 0.00055
Downpayment: $1220
Monthly payment (with tax): $403.94

Clearly Option #B doesn’t look serious. Any chance I can do better on anything with Option #A?

Also - is it a good idea to buy the $1,590 pre-paid service plan from Subaru (covers all servicing upto 42K including the 30K)

Dealer A is a solid discount. I’m guessing given the upfront payment you’re in Seattle and that part of that upfront cost is the tabs.

Two suggestions:
(1) You don’t need a $1590 service plan on a 3 year Subaru lease. Just my $0.02.

(2) With that level of discount, it may be worth running the numbers on a Limited - the money factor is a bit higher, but the residuals are 2% higher.

If you’re in the Seattle area, ping me and I can refer you to a dealer I’ve worked with in the past and referred others to. If you’re not working with them already (I think you might be), you may be able to use them as a sanity check.

Thanks @28firefighter - yes I am working with them as well. Will try the limited as well.
