Hackers about to start the process of chasing a 2018 Forester Unicorn, anyone here in the process or have a good hack quote for me to use as a starting point?

Yeah, do you mean 2019? I heavily considered getting one of the last 2018 XTs because of the higher HP numbers vs the 2019s, but it was just a tad too early. Now that I’m looking to lease something new none of the local dealers have any left. Oh well.

Subaru is not the brand you shop for unicorns. The best I’ve seen here was 16% off which I personally never achieved on Foresters. Subaru sells their cars with minimal to none incentives.
Some of the 2019 numbers I have seen on here are what we are currently paying on 2015 limited loan not lease. We have about 7k equity and thinking of selling and using some profit to cover one pay of a newer lease

Yes, but you still seem to want to use this money on your new lease. Just use this 7k and buy 2019.
I would like to hear your arguement for not paying the lease off in one lump sum?
One pay is fine, if that’s what you want. But with $7k you can finance and have the same as lease payments and end up with more equity after 3 years.

Yea as I was typing I answered my question to you haha. I was really only focused on the lease scenario. The only way that made sense was one pay and not have a car payment for three years. But purchase is the way to go I will be around the same payment with good discount.
Is there still lease support on the 18s?
ETA: just checked on Edmunds and as of December 2018 they were saying lease support had ended
